Blu ray player won't read firmware update disk? - funai will build rca
My Sylvania NB500SL9 not read the CD I have downloaded the firmware files from http://www.funai-corp.com/support/Downlo ... no matter what I do. I use DVD + R, as you say, and I'm sure my firmware is outdated, but I get an error "The playback is not available on this CD." Any help?

Are you sure that you create an ISO image?
The updated firmware also CDs, but not recordable DVD.
